XML to eManifest handling facility
This feature is used to process a manifest data file for submission to the Royal Mail eManifest Handling System (eMHS).
It mainly functions as a backup eManifest handling facility for jobs that have taken longer than expected to produce the mail items, and where the data
storage period has lapsed. As a result the data is no longer available on our system and cannot therefore be included in the normal eManifest handling process
A backup manifest data file for this purpose is automatically included in data downloads available after the barcode generation process. We advise our Mailmark customers to keep this file safe, should the above turn out to be the case.
Processing of DSA/GeMMA compatible manifest file
The feature can also be used to facilitate eManifest handling for xml-based (GeMMA compatible) manifest data, as provided by some of the major downstream access providers such as OnePost, CityPost, Secured Mail, UK Mail and others.
